The standard self-adhesive adheres properly to normal, high surface tension (ABS, PC, aluminum, plexiglass...), low roughness, and dirt-free surfaces. If the base material has a low surface tension (e.g. PP, PE, PTFE...) or the surface is rough, dirty, than special self-adhesive is required. Choosing a special adhesive may be justified even in case of high IP protection and extreme environmental exposure.
